Mace grows on a Nutmeg tree (Myristica fragrans). This nutty fruit is an amazing gift given by god and nature. Nutmeg essential oil is extracted from the seeds, and Mace the crimson aril is consist of a lacy cover which found wrapped around the seeds. This plant is known native to the an island in Indonesia call Spice Islands (Moluccas). Although it is widely grown in Indonesia, but the same small evergreen trees are also cultivated in the Caribbean, India and some part of Malaysia. Mace is widely used from cuisines, perfumery, soaps while Nutmeg has a stronger scent, extremely rich with musky odour. But Mace is more towards mild undertone, almost like the resonant of freshly extracted nutmegs. This middle note Mace Essential Oil blends well with Clary Sage, Mandarin, Orange, Petitgrain, Coriander, Geranium, Lavender, Lime, and Rosemary. Mace has an aroma that's similar to Nutmeg, as these two oils are distilled from the same plant (Nutmeg is distilled from the seeds while Mace is extracted from the crimson aril which covered the seeds.

HOW TO USE

DIRECTION

Do a patch test to see if you're sensitive to this oil. Do not direct use this oil onto your skin or face. Always use carrier oil of your choice to dilute this oil.

Add a few drops in your favorite shampoos, lotion or massage oil. In case you have sensitive skin, apply few drops and test oil to a homemade pad of a cloth bandage, leave it on your forearm for 12 hours before you apply regularly to your skin.

CAUTION

Use with caution & make sure to dilute with carrier oil of your choice. Avoid using during pregnancy Not recommended to use on infants. Stop using this oil if you have skin rash. This oil should not be directly apply on your face without dilution Children below 6 years of age should be prevented from using this oil.
